Duality brings software programming and sound composition together to create a symbiotic system which generates a sculpted particle simulation by combining the two seemingly separate realms. The work uses techniques within 3D applications to create a simulated particle interaction which represents the concept of duality. Using different velocities, surface tension and viscosity the work generates a moving image representing the opposites between two systems. A series of procedural techniques generates an immensely detailed rendering with different parameters affecting specific areas of the image based on Dolby symbol geometries. The attributes of each element react differently to one another creating one of a kind composition during the computation process. Final work submission is a 60"x 60" high resolution rendering.
