AMEX Rally on the River

GAMIFICATION INTERACTIVE CONTENT, PROJECTION ON WATER

Venom Design NY invited us to create custom interactive content for AMEX Rally on the River US Open experiential event. VVOX developed interactive drawing engines corresponding to the tennis ball, racket movements, and hits. These elements translated seamlessly in real-time together with rendered content representing fluid dynamics, explosions and particle simulations. The hydro-interactive experience was projected with four 20K Barco Projectors onto a massive 40x60-foot wall of cascading water at Pier 97 Hudson River Park.


Throwing Light on Water

Our visuals were implemented within a custom built program developed by, Elburz Sorkhabi and used as an interactive gamification experience between professional tennis all-stars and celebrities, including John Isner vs. Monica Puig, and with movie star comedian Kevin James. American Express guests who had the “glowing” tennis ball also got first hand- VIP experience to play this immersive game like the pros.
